I choose to document weddings on film, because it provides a depth and richness you can’t achieve with digital. The way film captures light feels romantic and nostalgic.

I focus on honest storytelling. My approach is a blend of photojournalism and creative direction. I want you to look like you, but the very best version (think NYT and Vogue had a lovechild).
When going through your gallery and making my edits, I consider the fact that these images are forever. I call it refined photojournalism. A lot of intention goes into your wedding photos.Think clean lines, your skin on its best day and not an exit sign in sight. When you move the distractions, the story is told in a way that’s dream-like.

Sidney came to me as a referral from another photographer when I was looking for someone to photograph our wedding. I honestly can't say more wonderful things about her and her work! She is so sweet and pleasant and goes above and beyond to get the best photos. Her photography has a way of telling stories even if not a candid shot. Many of my favorite photographs from our wedding are ones that she took and they hang in our home. Sidney has been a part of our life by continuing to photograph for our family photos and I look forward to her photographing more for us over the years.
