A few questions with my beautiful bride, Hayley.
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?:
There were so many beautiful moments throughout our wedding day, but my personal favorite was the first look. I was so excited to see Kyle and have our own private moment for the first time!
How did you decide to get married at the Wythe?
We decided to get married at The Wythe through TikTok actually! I was scrolling through and saw a beautiful wedding dinner and it was exactly the vibe I was going for. It ended up being in budget and the perfect venue for us.
What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding at the Wythe?
If you’re planning your own wedding at The Wythe, I’d say to know your headcount going in. There are several options for rooms / styles of weddings and it’s solely based on what you want and how many people are attending. It helps to also know going in if you want something more intimate or a large gathering for your big day.
What personal details did you include in your day?
Above all, I wanted to include details to remind me of my late mother in my day. We hung crystals in the flower arrangements in her honor. We also included fun things like film cameras on the tables for people to snap their own photos, I wore the famous Maison Margiela Tabis and we curated our own playlists for the entire event. We also rented out the movie theatre and played The Muppets where Kermit and Ms. Piggy get married. One of my favorite details, though, was having an aura photographer and reader there as a fun takeaway for our guests.
What was your favorite photo from your wedding?
There were so many amazing ones! But our favorite was the one that captured us cutting the cake that read “Til’ death do us part” on flash.
