I’ve known Ladi since I was 18 and we were roommates in Brooklyn and since then we’ve been through so much life together. Earlier this month, she texted me and said she thought she was going into labor. I got on the next flight to Florida and was able to make it in time to photograph her giving birth to sweet Giovanni. Ladi is a legend and made it all look easy. So thankful to have been invited to document it all.
